I don't have a handgun, can I still take the class?
You must bring your own handgun to class.  We do plan to offer rental handguns in the future.

How old do I have to be to sign up for your class?
The minimum age to obtain a NC Concealed Carry Handgun
Permit is 21 years.  Thus, you must be 21 years of age to sign up
for our classes.

What caliber handgun can I use to qualify with for the live fire
portion of the class?
For concealed carry qualification, .22 is the smallest caliber

you qualify with the handgun you plan to carry, or one of a similar caliber.

NC law requires 8 hrs of instruction to meet minimum requirements.  Our classes are typically scheduled to allow for 9 hrs of instruction.  With an extra hour break for lunch.  Please plan to stay for the entire duration of the course.
